Connecting To WiFi (Android Menu)

This article will show you how to connect your terminal to WiFi.

Shortly after powering on your terminal for the first time you will see the android UI. At the same time the terminal application should auto start itself. If the terminal is not connected to the internet you will see a screen like the one below.

If you find yourself on this screen you will need to swipe up from the bottom of the terminal to reveal the main navigation buttons and click on the center 'O' button:

This will take you to the main menu. From the main menu select the 'Tools' folder to access the system settings by going to the gear icon:

In the system settings look through the options to find the 'WiFi' option:

Make sure the WiFi is turned on and then select the WiFi network you would like to connect to. Enter the password to connect and get internet access:

Once you are connected to your preferred WiFi network you can navigate back to the main menu and click the Zift icon to start the terminal point of sale application:

If the terminal has not been activated you will see a terminal setup screen.

To activate your terminal please follow the Activating Your Terminal instructions.

If you have already activated you will see the standalone menu or a splash screen.
